Pay attention!

It is 1888. Mr Wade and Miss Shearman will ensure that your students will learn what it meant to be a pupil in the late Victorian period. They will get a taste of what their forebears would have endured in the interests of education and Christian morality.

Using slate and pencils they will be expected to use their diction and dictation skills to record facts and and answer questions in a geography lesson. Arithmetic using pounds, shillings and pence will be taught. The composition of the Union Flag - the saints, their days and an appropriate poem will be recited...

...and school rules will be expected to be followed at ALL times!
